Inspirate’s flagship festival, An Indian Summer, will be back next year, bringing a new and unique programme of contemporary South Asian arts and culture to Leicester!

This year’s theme was ‘The Stories We Bring, The Stories We Shape’.

Across five days, the festival became a living, breathing and fluid space where we delved into the stories we carry within us, and the new narratives that emerged as we look towards the future.

 

Through theatre, movement, dance, poetry, film, music and conversation, our audiences and artists alike came together, to share, imagine and create the stories that feel most vital to us.

Thank you to all of our incredible artists who shared their own stories along the way, and to our audiences that came to support the festival across all of our events. We look forward to seeing you all next year for An Indian Summer 2026.
